NN UAL STAFF Charles Welda Alice Storandt Richard Witte CLASS HISTORY In September 1951 twenty shy and bashful freshmen enrolled in Mtndoro High As time passed we became more assured and a part of the school Our f1rst great event was our initiation in October given to us by the sophomores as a welcome to Mmdoro High In return we entertained them in November As freshmen we soon Joined many organizations and participated tn different activities Some of these included F H A F F A Band Chorus Athletics Forensics and Pep Club It was soon September 1952 and nineteen sophomores returned to Mmdoro High eager to settle down to tasks before us we gave our first social event October 3 by initiating the freshmen The freshmen then gave us a return party November '7 by the movtng of Harlan Horswill to La Crosse and the passing away of Robert Kramer in February On Nov ember 13 we presented our class play Quiz Me Agarn which was a big success We received our class rings in December On May 7 we had our prom which was held in honor of the semors We chose Peg O My Heart for our theme Leland Grlbertson was chosen king and he chose Vilah Pfaff for his queen September 1954 came all to quickly as semors we have seventeen members 1n our class On January 26 we all attended Career Day The Juruors had a prom for us in April Our class play was given in May we went on our class trip following graduation Everyone helped to organrze our annual Le Coulee Now this class ef 55 will separate and each will go his own way but it will be a long time before we forget our classmates and the good times we ve had during our four years in Mindoro High School.
