The Sen1or graduat1ng Class of 1953 entered as Freshmen 1n the fall of 1949 There were Z3 of us then and we were class1f1ed a Greemes unt11 our 1n1t1at1on 1n October by the Sophomores Our class gave a return party and l1ttle by l1tt1e we began to feel at home 1n M1ndoro I-hgh School Organ1zat1ons to wh1ch most of us belon ed are the Pep Club Forens1c Club F H A F F A and the H1g School Chorus and Band It was soon September 1950 and we returned to M1ndoro H1gh School as Sophomores At th1s t1me we had 21 students left 1n our class We gave an 1n1t1at1on party to the new freshmen In 1951 our class settleddown to harder work We gave a Class Play Here Comes The Br1de We rece1ved our Class rmgs and planned a Jumor Semor prom Our theme was on Moon11ght Bay' We also gave partxes to make money for our class September 1952 came all too soon as Sen1ors we felt we sure would love to start all over agam We started out thms year wmth 17 students and ended Wlth 16 We had our class p1ctures taken 1n October In January we were g1ven clerlcal test by the W1scons1n State Employment Serv1ce In March we gave our Sen1or Class Play Many of us worked on the school paper 'Le Cou1ee durmg our Jumor and Semor years Everyone helped to orgamze our Annual
