'tx Because ul . . . our leaders believe in the youth of the town, progress is never at a standstill. The parish fathers outgrew their quarters in the half-century-old courthouse, so now we have Junior this magnificent structure. Isn't it beautiful! And other changes have taken place- the old red school house where many of the school board and city-council members, themselves, went to school and which now serves as the High School is yielding its place on the campus to a modern, up-to-date structure. But the P. T. A. was not willing for the youths of '64 to be ignorant of this progress. The familiar old brick building has been molded in china, and now some 500 plates hang gaily on walls in the homes of students and alumni alike. WI Eighteen TH CONFIDEN MR. W. W. WILLIAMS . . . in boys and girls and with a deep conviction that they are a town's most valuable asset, I gladly serve as Principal of Minden High School. As I review with gratification the experiences of the past two years, I find in my heart an increasing appreciation of the students of M. H. S. and a rising challenge to serve faithfully the youth of our day.
