JODY HARPER R E Vl E W l N Gr. . The History of Mizzrlen High FQREWGRD Wie have now entered 1950, the closing year of the first half of the 20th Century. When the year ends. we shall be standing at the middle of the century, looking back upon one of the most rapidly changing periods in all the history of mankind. These fifty years have witnessed many new and strange things- the radio, the airplane, penicillin, the New Look, and the atomic bomb. XVhile looking back over the past half century at Min- den High, we find that we too have not stood still. This book itself is evidence of progress and improve- ment. The first annual, a small. paper-bound book, made its :appearance in 1920 under the title The Green Grigf' Except for two periods-the depression and the war-this book has been published continu- ously by the students of Minden High School. On this and the following pages we shall give you glimpses of the past, events of the present, and hopes for the future.
