Cgzgfffnf glad Hsfazy Way back ln the year of forty three Forty two new puprls ln school had we Of these forty two only ten are st1ll wrth us Our motto was Mrnatare Hrgh School or Bust Joan Lathan and Roselyn Kolb Started wtth us rn the days of old Inez Faufreld and Shuley Jay Also started that sunny day Wanda LaFon and Sharon L Curtts Were really afrard that the teachers Paul Reddmg and Sev Franco those two l1ttle boys Were up and ready to go to make a lot of norse Then there was Roger Kremng and Judy Karrer We ten students were up to par Mrss Howard was our teacher we lrked her real well If we were just the least btt late she d warn us wrth a bell We learned to read we learned to count we learned the alphabet Mrss Howard taught us all those thmgs to her we owe that debt We re now rn the fxrst grade our second year of school We learned to get along taught by the Golden Rule would hurt us JL Mrs Howard was our teacher she made our studres clear Mrs Struxness was our teacher when we entered second grade When we stuck wrth studres she always gave us a1d Sandra Brehm was the puprl who entered our small class She was a very quret person but a smart l1ttle lass We had stmple arxthmetrc and a l1ttle spellrng too Telltng trme was another small thrng we had to do Mlss Anderson our thrrd grade teacher taught us many thmgs We learned a l1ttle geography and also how to srng We had our ftrst operetta Jack and the Beanstalk rt was called lt was lots of fun for rn costumes we were dolled Our fourth grade operetta was called Pmochto We pracuced and practrced ttl we were ftnally ready to go Mrs Helmrck was our teacher Our new puprls we found out Were the l-larshman twtns Sandra Chrrstman and Eugene Nrederhaus Our puprls rn the fxfth grade were Junror Mowry and Vrvran Kruse Our teacher Mrs Schumacher taught us fractrons how to use We also learned some htstory whrch was really lots of fun We enyoyed our operetta Sunny of Sunnyslde but we were glad when 1 Our new puprls tn the srxth grade were Nancy Merssner and Lo1s Btrdsall t was done : ' ' . ,. 12 97 ' I Antonia Lopez joined us in that very happy yearg
