Students set up goals towards which they strived to improve themselves and the school. The new decade approached promising new horizons. Students realized that during the next years, they would make decisions which would affect the rest of their lives. Upperclassmen made goals primarily concerned with career choices to be pursued through a college or a job following graduation. Financial aid applica- tions, SAT forms and college applications all became a reality. Underclassmen made goals concerning courses to take and activities to participate in that would prepare them for college, a job, or life- long interests. e The student body made goals to improve the school.
