THELMA R. FERRISS Dean of Girls Lite might be classified into Two spans of happiness. Those twelve years ot school that tor the graduating seniors are now completed when they have received their diplomas are days ot preparation. For most young students the fundamentals learned during These years become neces- sary as a guide tor The years of challenge That follow. They temper and give direction. We of The faculty hesitate tor a moment To make note that our ettorts may have had some value for our young citizens. To The Class of 1959: What shall I say to you? How can I put into one paragraph all The wishes and words of wisdom that I would give you? I have known you, both as a class and as individuals, better perhaps than any other group of seniors, and my life has been made richer from having known you. There- tore, I would like to wish tor you all The best things in lite. May you have Health, Wealth, and Happiness so That you may enioy the good things of This earth. May you have Strength and Courage, and Wisdom so that you can meet The problems of Lite squarely. And last of all may you have true Humility of Spirit so that you will never cease To grow in greatness of character. In The years to come I shall watch with sincere interest for bits ot news about you and shall share with you both your triumphs and sorrows. D. PAUL MUNO Dean ot Boys
