lest we forget SUSAN BOETTCHER as sophomores we expenenced a bltter blow a dear classmate Susan Boettcher was taken from us by God Almlghty she was born August 1 1922 entered Lutheran I-hgh school 1n 1936 took an act1ve rnter est 1n school l1fe was an all around ath lete besrdes betng a br1ll1ant scholar sophomore member of Student Counctl a short t1me after the second semester Susan was conflned to her home because of lllness durtng Easter vacatlon her cond1t1on became serlous on Apr1l 13 1938 Susan passed away as senrors just a few months ago a second sorrow was suffered by us Marjorre Kurth d1ed as the result of an auto accldent she was born December 27 1921 had almost completed a four year course at our school loved by classmates and frrends for her outstandlng frlendlrness and good nature her death was sudden and unex pected from It we take a lesson of pre paredness for ourselves 1t 1S 1n memory of these two classmates that we publlsh th1s Aurora may they l1Ve forever ln our memorles f N . . 1 ... , , 4 ...I - , ... . ...
