Qijvqlcg 9u K9 Qwsh' 'O X Skllx LLOXD PHILLIPS SARAH RIGGS HE girl with the cute figure and face is the second member of her family to attend Downer. Lloydie joined our class in her fresh- man year and has since then astounded us with her amazing ability to do a thousand things at once-Awas a member of the Semaphore staff for three years and while on it won a special Quill and Scroll award for writing sports articles - a member of the Assembly Committee for four years, she was made chairman of that and of the Red Cross committeerm-was also senior vice' president. She's the White Teams baseball squads best pitcher. Lloyd never eats breakfast fjust a vitamin pill and a glass of orange juice fone reason for her slim figurej-her pet passion is sailing on Pine Lake in the summer-ask her about the many times she has landed in the water-spends her winter weekends skiing and going out with her various male admirers. .F there's ever anything you want to know about Michigan, ask the school's best author- ity, Sallyfshe deserted Ann Arbor this year to be a senior at Downer, and there's not much she can't tell you about her favorite state- her younger sister, Gretchen, runs her a close second along that line. Sal has short blond hair, blue eyes, and a knack for Miss Buck- master's English. She's crazy about baseball, food fany variety, but especially grapefruitj, and music. One of the school's most ardent boogie fans-her favorite piece is Six Flats Unfurnished ff-she likes to read and knows millions of 64fdollar words. Sarahs pet peeve is affected people. She doesn't know exactly what she's going to do with the not too distant future, except that she plans to enter the U. of Michigan next fall- wherever she goes, she's sure to be a big sucf cess. -0 0 lfcto -Qlcmc, XDQSQVNQQ may QXOK l call
