A falling in love, father i ., 7 disapproving and mother adding ' H her special touch and blessing, until one day an alien appears and disrupts normal activity. P-fr The alien, Pete Herpy, came to earth and using it as a toy, this ball of mass confusion, almost starts a war. The second and last play ot the year was the most emotional play done by the Drama Club. lt was excellently directed and well-performed. The story was about a retarded man, Charlie Wilson, CPete Herpyj who came to the institute with the hope of regaining his intelligence. lt was decided that he should be operated on. There would be only two results, intelligence or death. As it evolved, Charlie attained superior intelligence but only for a short time. The operation was not a success and Charlie died. It was a touching and emotional story that brought the audience to tears. Charlie CPete Herpyj reported later, lt sounded like an infirmary. . . all the snifflingf' It was a play well worth seeing.
