Seniors through their civics classes, taught by Mr. Ballinger, learn about American government while juniors. under the leader- ship of Mr. Long, acquire knowledge about their ancestors in American history classes. Instructed by Mr. Kremer, the sopho- mores learn of the old world through their world history classes. By reading newspaper articles, Mr. Kremer's world history students keep informed about current events.

CLEAR THINKING, REASONING POWER Math courses stress clear thinking. Students develop an inquiring attitude of mind through mastery of equations, theorems, and logarithms. Math study provides a good founda- tion for future work in such fields as engineering, physics, and surveying. Two years of algebra, plane and solid geometry, trigo- nometry, shop math and business math are offered to high school students. In addition, mechanical drawing prepares students for a career in drafting.
