A. was organized this year at Milton Union. It is a state organization for the purpose of furthering the work of Home Ec- onomics. The program includes field trips, community education through displays. and newspaper articles. The third and fourth year home economics students formed thc nucleus ot' the club to organixc. The sophomore girls were taken in alter the beginning ot' the sec- ond semester. izcd last September with an en- rollment oi' twenty-one members. It consisted of students from the beginning and advanced shorthand classes with Miss Aenew for their leader. Officers elected were: president. Gertrude Cllillilligllillill vicc-president. Eunice Trescheri and secrctary-treasurer. Bcity Wixoin. Scvtral times durine thc ycar the members played baslictball aitcr school and had suppcr aftcr- wards. Mr. Rood. organ- ized a code class for students that showed an interest in the learning of Code. The class was not compulsory and there was no election of of- ticers. The class was disbanded at the close ot' the Iirst semester and Mr. Hood has suggested that a regular class ol' code be insti- tuted in the school curriculum next year.
