W r ' 4: 1st row - renee rayner, Selena bagwell, may rabjohn, kim farran, lynn lott. 2nd row - patty etchison, becky rawls, cathy black, june stapler - not pictured - linda Kerr. the varsity cheerleaders have represented our school well. this past summer they attended cheer- leading camp at mercer university where they worked hard with approximately 200 other girls. the cheerleaders were awarded third place for the squad's performanceg they presented a program on american spirit to the state american legion meeting. as the year pro- gressed, the tension mounted as football season arrived. the cheerleaders helped to raise school spirit with pep rallies and other activities they sponsored. the ex- citement of each game revealed their enthusiasm and sup- port for our teams on the grass turf as well as on the hardwood floor. these ten spirited cheerleaders have shown extraordinary spirit along with outstanding char- acter in supporting miIton's athletic teams. 42
