It aids the Student Council in linking together the student body and the faculty. The dele- gation assists in keeping the students aware of the activities and opportuni- ties that are opened to them. The delegation met regularly under the capable leadership of its president, john Quatromoni. 25

The council has promoted the Save the Childrenls Federationv by collect- ing usable clothing from the students. At the time of the national election the council also helped with a 5'Get out the vote campaign? For the school, the council has helped in the scholarship drive by selling candy at basketball games and by sponsoring rummage sales and cake sales. It also sold note- books, sweat shirts, and book covers to raise money for its general functions. Besides being active within the school and the community, the Student Coun- cil has sent delegates to the Eastern Massachusetts Student Council Con- vention and to the Massachusetts State Student Council Convention.

They,re indis- pensable not only to Mrs. Pile, but also to each Milton High School student, for they put themselves at our disposal to help us find whatever books or maga- zines that We may need. The Library Assistants are true examples of good citizenship at M.H.S. 26
