This is not an easy task, and they deserve much credit. They care enough to do more than just the essen- tials expected by their teachers. Extra reading assignments and independent projects earn them their high marks. They are not just good students, they are also good citizens. These students are the ones Who find the time to do their part to aid the community by do- ing such things as volunteer Work, serv- ing on committees, and participating in community projects. Not one of these students ignores his duty to Milton. The members of the Senior Honor Roll are the top members of the class of 1965.

The National Chosen for their scholarship, leader- ship, service, and character, the mem- bers of the National Honor Society cer- tainly deserve to have their picture placed first in the Yearbook. To become a member of the National Honor So- ciety, one must be extensively screened by his teachers. He must also maintain a high scholastic record and participate in extracurricular activities both in school and in the community. As a re- Honor Society sult of this close scrutiny only about one out of every twenty students becomes a member. However, this number has been increasing from year to year. This year the National Honor Society has been fortunate in having Gail Suzedell as its president. The privilege of be- coming a member of the National Hon- or Society is one to which all should aspire.
