With a good conscience our only sure reward, with history the final judge of our deeds, let us go forth to lead the land we love, asking His blessing and His help, but knowing that here on earth Godns work must truly be our own. From Inaugural Address of John Fitzgerald Kennedy

9 Principafs Message Mr. E. Francis Kane My sincere congratulations to a most outstanding class, the graduating class of 1964. The renovation of our school and the large addition in the form of a new wing, made possible by the generosity of your parents and citizens of the town, has not made your task an easy one with bulldozers, cranes, and airham- mers ever present for the past two school years. Yet you have accepted these challenges and crowded conditions with a cooperative attitude and attained great heights in every endeavor. You have set a iine example for the succeeding classes who will enjoy these splendid new facilities which are now nearing completion. As you go on to college or enter the business world you are well prepared to meet the challenges of an ever increasing complex adult life. Be not dis- mayed with the constant reminder of unemployment and the dislocations caused by automation. Your high school career has been the mere beginning. An understanding faculty has taught you the right answers, the right attitudes, the right way of thinking, and perhapsiimore important, you have learned there is yet so much more to learn, so much more to know, and so much more of yourself to give for the welfare of others. s .X 4. i We are confident of your success. 6
