In five years it has grown from non-existence to the Well-stocked, neat- ly arranged shelves that have helped all students learn better and know more. Keeping the permanent books intact and in order, and operating the popular paperback book store have kept Mrs. Pile,s library assistants a very busy group.

Library Club The Library Club's interest is to add enjoyment to reading and make it a pleasure rather than a chore. The Library Club is experimenting this year with the paper-back book store. These books, which cover a variety of subjects, are available to the students at nominal cost. Funds received are being put towards a scholarship. The officers of the 1968-64 Library Club are: Christina Walker, President, Evelyn Scribner, Vice-president, janet Foster, Secretary, Marcia Morgan, treasurer. Under their direction, activi- ties including a Christmas tea, a Valen- tine party, and a picnic to climax the year, have been held.

S. activity is a busy one, but the Girls League must rate among the most active. Under Miss Miller the League planned and conducted the big dances of the year and the highly ap- plauded Motliersi Tea. On the practical side the girls contributed to the annual Girls League scholarship fund to benefit a deserving college-bound graduate.
