The 1962 edition of the YVhiz Kids trampled the rest of the Bay State League and regrets only that it couldnit have replayed the 28-12 Natick loss. Al- though some names crop up more than others in discussing individual games, it would not be fair to point out any individual as the star of the team. The star was desireg what they wanted to do, they did. YVhen they had to come from be- hind - the true sign of a champion - they did it. YVhen they had to protect a slim lead in the shadow of their own goalposts, they did it. Practicing after dark, in mud, in bitter cold and doing it willingly made Coach Brennan mighty proud of his ball club. So, to the coaches, the managers, the cheerleaders, the faithful fans, and especially to the sixty-six young men pictured above, Milton High School extends a sincere XVell donelv 26
