,4.4'aa+64t74au70da7faae 6fL0f60f 754 Well Olive M. Kleinfelter retires after giving twenty-nine years of continuous service to M.H.S. as a teacher of second grade. Mrs. Kleinfelter was born on July 12, 1913 at Lansdale, Pa. She attended the local schools there and graduated from Lansdale High School. During her high school years she sang in the chorus, played the trumpet for four years, and earned her band letter. Mrs. Kleinfelter attended Lebanon Valley College where she was a member of the Girlis Chorus, Chemistry Club, and was Secretary of her class for two years. She has also supplemented her education with courses at Millersville and Penn State. retirement. Olive M. Kleinfelter With the retirement of Thomas O. Pratt after thirty-seven years of dedicated service, Milton Hershey School reluctantly loses one of its most vigorous instructors. Mr. Pratt was born on September 9, 1914, in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Ridley Park High School and later attended Williamson Trade School, Drexel Technical Institute and the Pennsylvania State University. Prior to coming to Milton Hershey, Mr. Pratt was employed as an Electrical Consultant at American Viscose Corporation. In August of 1940 Mr. Pratt joined the staff of the School as an Electrical Instructor and retired in that position. He helped in the Scouting program from 1941 through 1950. His fond memories include talking to Mr. Hershey on several occasions in the shop. Thank you, Mr. Pratt, for your years of dedicated service. In August of 1949 Mrs. Kleinfelter came to Milton Hershey as a second grade teacher in which position she retired. She fondly remembers such things as Christmas at the ucottagesi' and many rewarding travel experiences. We take this opportunity to wish Mrs. Kleinfelter a long and happy Thomas 0. Pratt For forty-three years William A. Yottey has given untiring service in the l William A. Yottey 12 areas of elementary and secondary education, twenty-three of which have been spent in adding new horizons to the lives of Milton Hershey students. Mr. Yottey Was born on January 20, 1913, at Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He attended Harrisburg Schools from grades 1-12 and graduated from John Harris High School in 1930. From 1930 through 1934 he matriculated at Shippensburg State Teachers College receiving his B.S. in Education. Mr.Yottey then taught in the elementary grades at Lower Paxton Township from 1935 to 1938. From 1938 through 1955 he was Resident Master at Girard College in Philadelphia. In 1955 Mr. Yottey joined the faculty of M.H.S. as a teacher of seventh grade in the area of Eastern Hemisphere and Ancient History. In 1966 he changed his specialty to teaching tenth and eleventh grade American History and World Cultures in which position he retires. Mr. Yottey also gave ten years at Milton Hershey to the Scouting Program. We thank Mr. Yottey for his many years of service and wish him a happy retirement.
