Gllzwm 1Emtnr1g Twelve years a 0 this class of some twenty or twenty five youngsters of about slx years of age embarked for their Hrst trip on the great Sea of Know ledge under the faithful gundance of lV'lss Emma Terhu e Of that large class we have left just a few Herman Boring Donald Rlchey Clint Piper Gladys Power and Wllllam Archey The others are enther pursurnv their studies else where or have fallen rnto tlre deep as we have salled along At different tlmes we have gamed new members Mary .fhaw has al ways been a member of the class except when ln the third and fourth grades she attended school at Moscow Wilma Brown came to us nn the second y ar havmg started ln the old Bertha Q-tevens Joined us rn our fourth journey coming from ackson lqownshlp havmg attended the Kennmg School Helen Overleese began her school career rn lndranapolls where she tended the Kindergarten later co nlng to Mllroy Robert and Russell Cross Jomed us cornmg here from New Palestine Dorothy Pike came to us from Rlchlard when a Freshman At the begmnmg of the unlor year Lawrence Harnson cast hrs lot with the class of 26 commg to us from Westport as dnd a young lady Bernell Tan ner who came from Greensburg and George Gmn from Middletown Then when launching the twelfth and last voyage ln old M H S two more members were added to our class but frve were lost Catherine Patton orxgrnally a member of the class of 24 came back to frmsh at M H S havmg been out of school three years because of all health Dora Mulligan came to us from Qandusky but later deserted to get married leawlng only I3 members ln the class of 26 Carl and Ednth Thompson were lost with the Florida boom George Gunn returned to Middletown and the Cross brothers moved to Shel byvllle to serve a new congregatron Thus we are a baker s dozen 33 ,. -. ,. 7, do 7- .
