Athletic Events We started t.he basket ball season with a new team and litt.le practice by playing Lacona. October 20, 1922, on our home court and lost to them by a score of 27 to G. October 27, we played a game with the Liberty Center boys at Milo. This was a good game and resulted in -the score of 13 to 10 in favor of the Liberty Center boys. November S we played a second game with the Lacona boys at Milo. This was a hard and close game with a score of 10 to 8, in favor of Milo. November 17, our game with the Dallas boys was ruined by the rain. We played about n quarter of a game with a score of 10 to 2 in favor of Dallas. November 24 we played a second game with the Liberty Center boys at Milo. This game showed good playing on all positions. We won the game by a. score of 27 to 22. December 15 we played our first game away fnom home and on a. FLOOR. 'Dhis game was with Liberty Center and was lost to them by the score of 27 to 10. 1 9 2 39494949 49495 33
