In the meantime Slugger Simmonds false played by Kenneth Goode! arrived. Slugger was delighted when he was mistaken for Spencer because he hoped that would make it easy for him Cas the clerk! to rob the safe. Much confusion followed when Naomi told Slugger Csupposedly Spencer! that she would marry him. A short time later Naomi was nearly beside herself when Sluggard's wife appeared. Thus things went from bad to worse with everyone suspecting everybody else. Chick Payton ILincoln Ryder! a detective made an attempt to strairhten things out. At the final curtain Spenceris real identity was established. Mrs. Leona Gillis again deserves much credit for so successfully coaching the play. She was capably assisted by Athalie Buck, Leona Pratt, Marion Williams, Lillian 'Willin- ski, Margaret Witham and Lincoln Ryder.
