The Council instituted a new system of class- sponsored pep rallies for foot- ball games which provided great- er enthusiasm and keener com- petition ialthough the weather- man didn't help mattersj. Con- tinuation of the foreign exchange program came under the con- sideration of the group, as did numerous other problems relat- ed to the Student body.

Future Farmers of America Education in agriculture offers a variety of experiences. lt may mean doing a project on your own or ioining with fellow students to work out a problem in the shop. Some of the older boys who have cleaned up their farms are shown here reconditioning and painting plows that belong to Mr. Tom Rust, a nearby farmer. F.F.A. also encourages participation in lead- ership and public speaking activities. Here the F.F.A. officers and the fourth place State F.F.A. Parliamentary Procedure Team stand with the chapter banner.
