H igh School Principal OTIS P. JEFFERSON, JR. To The Class of 1960: lt is significant that the largest class to ever graduate from M.H.S. completed its tenure in the years of the Big Change. Many operational procedures were revised during your high school career as we went through that difficult stage of transition from a small to a medium size school. These changes affected you materially. Some found favor with you, others, disfavor. Certainly you deserve commendation for the ease and good grace with which you adjusted to the transi- tion. l trust that the lessons gained from this transitory period in high school will stand you in good stead in the much more violently transitory conditions that modern society produces.
