M. H. S. Student Council Student government is a vital part of any American High School. Capably headed by Bob Rickards this year. with assistance from Mr. Burton. the faculty advisor. the Council has had the responsibility of dealing with some of the problems confronting the student body. Of the various projects undertaken by the Council. the most important has been the organization of an American Field Service exchange group for M.H.S. Members of the group are working hard to complete plans for our high school to par- ticipate in the exchange of foreign students by next fall.
