No human endeavor is considered worthwhile unless it has a scientific background. Within the realm of science biology permits travel in the domain of living things. Through lecture and lab work the Biology Department accomplishes its purposes of presenting the basic prin- ciples underlying life phenomena and correlating these principles with human living.
