The 1966 Bobashela We think it only fitting to show the before and after pictures of the construction of one of the new dorms on the first page of this book. These pictures are symbolic of the great strides Millsops is making in the advancement of edu- cation on the college level. It is our sincere hope that Millsops will one day become the leading educational center in the South. This will be a reality only with much determination, work and spirit. It has been our sincere wish to capture some of this spirit in the Bobasheia so that future stu- dents may look back and say, That is where this great school surged upward. The Spirit of ' 66... was in the air— it was not something one could see or hear, yet it was there— an invisible hum that permeated each mind and heart. This upsurge of enthusiasm lent a university spirit to the friendly, small-campus atmosphere and gave greater purpose to the ideals of a liberal education. Having been challenged by the SPIRIT of ' 66, each student was filled with a desire to keep that spirit olive.
