PRESIDENT ' S MESSAGE TO THE MFLLSAPS COLLEGE STUDENT: Your Bobashcia is a permanent record of how you and your fellow students looked during college days. It represents an account of some of the activities whfch consumed your energies. Your annual also reminds you of what your college was like. Campus scenes, faculty pictures, notes about occasions and events — these recall for you the more serious side of college life and underscore the permanent values of study and inquiry. You will enjoy this book now. You will enjoy it even more in future years. Your Alma Mater hopes that what has been begun here can be continued and accelerated as you pursue further study or begin your life of full employment in some community. Your friends arc more interested in what you will be like in ten or twenty years than in what you look like now. So are you. Your activities in college are important. Your activities beyond college arc more important. May they be exciting, constructive, and rewarding. Best wishes to all of you. H. E.
