What is the duty of today ' s school? To provide an opportunity for each boy and girl to develop their moral, spiritual, educational and physi- cal qualities to the best of their ability. What is the duty of today ' s student? To so adjust themselves that upon the completion of their formal education they will be considered an asset to their environment. High school and college graduates step into a world so fierce with competition that only the fully adjusted individual will improve his society. There is no end to the achievements that a graduate of today ' s high school can attain. His oppor- tunities are limitless; his chances are endless; but in order to meet the challenge, there must be a concerted effort on the part of the indi- vidual to build his educational foundation on solid rock and lay his brick up the ladder of education with his ultimate goal in mind.
