What man would swear cannot be done,-- Must not be hoped for,-the great Power on high Can give into his hand, in easy mastery. The Sophomore Class of 1962 has done many things to be proud of. One of the first things they did was elect Class Officers. They are Iohn Hart- ford, president: Iulie Rothschild, vice-president: Carol Ann Mark, secretary: and Iill Ienkinson, treasurer. The Sophomore Class has been unique in be- ing the only class to have a Class Cabinet. The members include: Bill Prevot, Helen Nicholson, Tom Peters, Iecm Cavender, Pat Billig, Brent Os- borne, Lewis Linington, and Sherilyn Green. This Cabinet helps to bring ideas to the attention of the Class Officers. By having this Cabinet, more students in the Sophomore Class are rep- resented and more ideas about what the stu- . . ELDER EDDA dents would like to see accomplished are pre- sented at the meetings of the officers and Cabinet. The Class Cabinet helped the officers plan the Sophomore Dance which was held on Friday, March 18, 1960. The dance was held in the Cafe- teria, and the music was provided by Iulio Erwin's combo, and songs played and sung by Ierry Engbretson. The planning and carrying out of this dance and other activities could not have been accom- plished without the help of their wonderful ad- visors, Mrs. Doris Benson, Mr. Arlen Kennedy, and Colonel Woodson Hocker.
