Activities included a successful campaign for the sale of student body cards and par- ticipation in several Inter-School Council activities. Perhaps the most important proj- ect of the year was the effort by the fall council to get the entire student body to vote. As a result of this encouragement, a majority of the eligible voters turned out at the polls. ' 4 -it wit Court and Senate At the beqinnina ot the school year every Mills student was aiven the op- portunity to elect a senator and an alternate to represent his second period class in the Mills Senate. These student representatives constitute the school Senate which is directed by the student body vice-president. The purposes of the Senate include the introduction ot bills important to the student body, the discussion ot prob- lems of student government, the trans ter of information to the student body, and the appointment of the members of the Court ot Last Resort.
