IN APPRECIATION: We wish to extend our deepest thanks to Miss Barbara Moan. Being a class advisor is not an easy job, but Miss Moan never gave up in times of trouble. We will always remember her for the time, effort and support she gave to our class. Thank you, Miss Moan.

Our yearbook is dedicated to two very special people, Mrs. Cindy Hunt and Mr. Brian Tuohey. Without their constant support and helpful attitudes, we would never have been able to make this year- book possible. Their knowledge and guidance helped us a great deal and will long be remembered. Thank you.

Superintendent To the Class of 1978: John Ruskin, an Englishman, wrote: “There is no music in a ‘rest’ but there is the making of music in it. In our whole life melody, the music is broken off here and there by ‘rests’, and we foolishly think we have come to the end of the tune.” Reflect for a moment and examine your “rests.” You may consider the end of a season of academics, sports or an activity as a period of rest, but your first “rest” actually begins on graduation night, which will be followed by times of joy, happiness, sadness, setbacks, or suc- cesses. By utilizing that which you have learned in the Millis Public Schools, you will benefit and contribute to the melody of your life. My sincere best wishes are extended to each and every one of you for a happy, productive, and successful future. Sincerely yours, William A. Vellante Superintendent of Schools
