The MCHS Choir The Choral Department of MCHS is comprised of two general music classes, a girls' chorus and beginning theory, and two performing groups — concert choir and gospel choir. Every year the department presents a Christmas concert, a Spring concert, and performs for many community programs such as the Millington Community Day, Senior Citizen meetings, athletic events, the talent show, and graduation. However, they individually participate in the all West Tennessee Choir, all State Choir and as a group participate in the West Tennessee Ensemble and Choral Festivals. True competition leads to a heightened degree of interest for the fine arts. Without such interest, the choral department wouldn't be the great success it is.
