Homecoming 1981 — ' Around the World in 80 Years Homecoming, one of the biggest events of the year, is the time when alumni return to the campus from their residences and places of employ- ment throughout the world to renew memories. Around the World in 80 Years was the theme for Millikin Homecom- ing 1981 activities recognizing the 80th anniversary of the founding of Millikin in 1901, and the significant events of the eight decades since then. This year ' s events included a trivia bowl, homecoming games, a parade, reunion lunches for various classes and the 1961 undefeated football team, a football game against Elmhurst, and a homecoming concert featuring Ray Stevens and the Millikin Jazz Lab Band where Peggy Drew and Greg Twist were crowned queen and king for Homecoming 1981. 8 Homecoming
