Charm, Beauty . . ♦ Pat Aukland, junior from Loda, rep- resented Alpha Chi Omega. She was also selected for Who ' s Who and was assistant editor of the Decaturian. She has sandy hair and bright hazel eyes and is a secretarial science major. Linda Laue, senior from Effingham, was the President of Delta Delta Delta. An English and history student, Linda has hazel eyes and long blonde hair usually seen in a pony tail or in a French roll at the back of her head. Tau Kappa Epsilon, Zeta Tau Alpha, Pi Beta Phi, and Sigma Alpha Epsilon won trophies under the new Homecoming house and float decoration rules. Under the new rules, men ' s and women ' s or- ganizations compete f o r separate trophies in each division. The TKE house decora- tion was a Tennessee mountain scene with an old corn liquor still and moonshiner. The theme was We ' re Still Brewing for You, Alums. SAE Roars to First! Pi Phi ' s Win-de prize. -.ill .-ifiiSsi Zeta transformed their front lawn into a chicken yard w ith a henhouse and a huge worm - seeking chicken making appropri- ate noises. The theme was Welcome Back to the Henhouse. Pi Beta Phi won the float division with the theme North Central ' s in Dutch! Their float was gaily dec- orated with traditional Dutch tulips, windmill, and costumed Dutch girls. SAE captured the men ' s trophy with a gigantic, realistic lion illustrating the theme, We ' re Lion for Them. « 23
