Baby, It ' s Cold Outside Thru the Years was the theme of the total- ly musical Homecommg Show, produced by Carol Mccvon and Judy Eskridge. A bonfire and pep rally followed on the east campus. Pat Norton and Roma Bradley, dressed as blue- birds to follow the Homecoming theme, A Bird ' s Eye View of Our MU, led cheers along with the cheerleaders both at the pep rally and at the game the next day. The Big Blue dropped a 12-6 heart-breaker as North Central scored a touchdown in the last 20 seconds of play. At half time, Carole Brooks was crowned as 1959 Homecoming Queen and trophies for float and house decorations were awarded. The sophomores were victorious once again as the traditional freshman-sophomore games kicked off the Homecoming weekend. The vic- tory was the second in a row for the class which as freshmen had won in 1958. ' Once in Love with Amy You and the Night and the Music . . . Homecommg Havoc Begins « 20 »

Seniors ' ' Mouc In The freshmen first learned that there was more to Millikin than fun and parties when they fought the registration line. They were then ready for the serious business of study as the first week of classes began. So, Ah sez to him. Ah sez. Waltz me around again, Willy! The Big Listen!
