X .,,,A Coach Stout relaxes during a hard practice. Because he is greatly interested in the welfare of the students, because he is admired by both students and faculty alike for his exemplification of true Christian living, and because he demon- strates his enthusiasm for competition in every walk of life, we, the Class of 1964, proudly and with great pleasure announce the dedication of this edition of the Milligan College Buffalo to Coach B. I-Iarold Stout. Coach Stout's interest in the students is best personified in the activities in which he is in- volved. He sponsors the Student Council, the Intramural Council and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The latter organization is probably the one achievement in which Coach takes greatest pleasure since he is the guiding spirit behind its conception here on campus. As sponsor of the Intramural Council, Coach is the coordinator of a varied and highly competitive sports program which involves approximately 802, of the student body and which teaches the Christian virtues of sportsmanship and fair play to all. Through his energetic leadership the Stu- dent Council has continued to move forward and become the cauldron from which the bubbling energies of the students have been acknowledged. By his counseling and his willingness to sacrifice of himself and his time for the benefit of others, he has become a symbol of man's faith in man- Caught in Intramural Action! ,Qi K ., X FR. M gi. .9525 ,,, , not only to the residents of Hardin Hall, but also to the entire student body. During our four years at Milligan, we have come to know him and love him not only as a respected teacher and friend, but also Coach, In the spring, when other men's fancies lightly turn to thoughts of romance only, Coach talks of southpaws and their E.R.A., batting aver- ages, AND Millie.
