Pressures afflicted everyone, freshman and seniors, young and old. however, many accepted the challenge that these pressures presented, and learned to cope with them. Shortcuts were found to create free time, priorites were developed, and schedules of study and socializing were created. In many cases, the pressure Increased as the need to fulfill degree requirements closed In about them, and grades had to be good In order to graduate on time. For many, marriage entered Into the picture, and the need to provide for a husband or wife while taking classes heaped the pressure higher.
