G. Frederick Beckmykr Iii Memoriam G. Frederick Bcckmyer. a beloved member of the faculty for twenty-seven years, passed from this life on September 2, 1957. His lovable personality will always be remembered bv his students. Neither will they forget his good nature and thoughtful consideration of others. Mr. Bcckmyer had a way of transcending the materialism of pure science to display more than an active appreciation of the Good and Living. In his classes we learned practice! applications of science and a love for the beauty of nature. The many trees and flowers on campus will always remind us « f Mr. Bcckmyer and his many hours of work at his favorite task. The trees and the skies and the lanes and the brooks Are more full of wonders than all of the books— James Freedam
