4.Q4U 1 class adlaiio i Miss Datesman, an active member of the college faculty, is also a very busy woman in work outside of the college itself. Her home town of Columbia will vouch for that. After graduating from Hood College in 1931, she attended Syracuse University and MilIcrsvillc State Teachers College, and from here to Franklin and Marshall College in nearby Lancaster. Coming to Millersvillc as an instructor in the field of Library Science and also serving as assistant librarian. Miss Datesman in the fall of 1952 assumed the responsibility of being advisor to our class. For her very kind and generous assistance in all matters, the seniors express their deep gratitude. Steve A. Nam it, M.Ed. Serving in the capacity of advisor to the Class of 1956 is Mr. Steve A. Namit, associate professor of health and physical education, supervisor of junior high school health and mathematics. Besides being a teacher himself he also serves as a supervisor to seniors who may be doing their practice teaching in the junior high school. His role there kept him many times from being present at our class meetings themselves but he never failed to show his interest in our activities by being present at all our functions. It is for this that we, the Class of 1956, wish to express our thanks. 23
