leniM. class history and ... Four short years ago we entered M.S.T.C. under the shouts of the famous “What do you say?”, “Who do you love?”, and “Buttons!” How we hated those first two weeks and what fond memories we have of them now’! Our first year had just begun under the kind guidance of our advisors. Miss Beatrice Dalesman and Mr. Steve Namit. Much work together with much fun produced our first big project of campus life; we held the “Spring Festival” in Brooks Hall with the “Hall of Horrors” and “Dutch Sock Hop.” Our sophomore year brought the “'53 Hangover” held in the Rat Race. By this time we had had our chance at hazing the Frosh and we knew our way through the ins and outs of matriculation. This was also the year that Lyle and Roddy Halls opened 22 SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS Seated, left to right: Geraldine Bcrkhcimer, Historian; Elaine Lelio, Treasurer; Barry Stein. President; Clark Taylor. Student Council rep rc.sent.uive; and Dolores Boyer, Secretary. their doors to us. What luxury after having lived in Old Main! And then we were juniors! The girls had the opportunity to be big sisters to the freshmen and help make them feel at home. Highlighting the year was our prom “Silver Bells at the Hotel Brunswick. Also among our special events were an informal dance in Rat Race and a float for the centennial parade. And now our last year at M.S.T.C. has come to an end and with it some of our problems and hard work. Only the good and enjoyable remain in our hearts and memories; the Homecoming display which won us top honors, “Sabrina Fair”, the ball and dinner-dance at the Overlook Country Club, student teaching, and many others. And then the biggest day of all—graduation.
