Leaves colored, faded, and fell. Once again we packed our bags, gathered together our books, and returned to the MSTC campus. We greeted our friends after the summer vacation and among the familiar faces which welcomed us were those of the administration and faculty. Our president and his wife once again opened their home to the members of the freshman class. The new dean of women added many little touches to make the students feel more at home. All administration personnel did their best to smooth over the many small emergencies arising with our moving into the new buildings. Classes again began and we once more settled back into our familiar schedule. Our summer vacation seemed almost non existent as we became caught up in the pace of the college. The many familiar faces of the faculty members greeted us as we went from class to class. In our education and psychology department we found a new chairman replacing Prof. Samuel Stayer, who retired with the close of the summer session. Theodore Rupp returned from Europe to resume his duties in the foreign language department and wrestling field. A new training school librarian, another college librarian, an addition to the health and education department, and a new supervisor of social living, replacing Raymond E.
