Millersburg Military Institute MILLERS BURG, KENTUCKY 40348 To Our Graduates, Students, and Patrons: On behalf of the faculty, administration, and Board of Trustees, I would like to offer my sincerest congratulations and best wishes to the Graduating Class of 1979. Members of this class distinguished themselves in academics, athletics, military performance, and all- around good citizenship. I know they will continue this performance in their future endeavors. We wish them well. This past 86th MMI graduation marks a turning point in our school's philosophy. In the face of public education's increased emphasis on education geared to the average student, MMI has decided to limit its size and to channel its approach toward providing the highest possible quality of instruction, centered on small classes and individualized instruction, to a relatively few students who we feel can best respond to this approach. Rather than de-emphasizing the military portion of our curriculum, the opposite approach will be taken. Athletics for every student will continue to be the keystone of extra-curricular activities. Positive motivation and di scipI i ne wi I I be strengthened. In these days of mediocrity in all things, MMI will provide the best of educational programs for those students who want to participate in the unique programs we have to offer. All of us at MMI would like to thank you for your patronage and continued support.
