MR. SHEELY SUPERVISING PRINCIPAL There is a great tendency on my part to attempt to recall how you looked and acted on that day in September when you first en- tered this your high school. Many changes have taken place since those days, you have grown physically and so have the facilities of your school. You are the first class to have had the complete use of the new addition of our high school. There can be no doubt about the I physical changes in both you and your surround- ings, but what about those other changes which have taken place in the past six years? What have you learned, what are your attitudes and what plans do you have for next year and the next, etc.? I would hope that these changes reflect the efforts of both pupil and teacher and that they have been beneficial. Are you better able to compete with others of your age group in institutions of learning or in the world of making a living? Do you regard your fellowman with a consideration' of his problems and with a better understanding? Do you feel able to regard your future with clarity? If you believe that because of the unseen changes which have taken place you are now more capable of answering the above questions in the affirmative, then there has been some of that growth and maturity which Kipling describes in these words, You'll be a man, my son, you'll be a man. My wish for you is that you will continue to mature and be a credit to yourselves and to your school. MR. BURRIS ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
