WE RESPECTFULLY DEDICATE THIS ANNUAL TO THE VOTERS AND TAXPAYERS OF THE MILLERSBURG-HARDY SCHOOL DISTRICT who have made possible that further expansion in school building and facilities that will offer modern educational opportunities to Millersburg-Hardy School children of the future. Time marches on and schools that were big enough and modern enough for our fathers do not suffice for the expanded needs. of our present school population. Unless our fathers, mothers, and friends had been wise enough to look into the future and self-sacri- ficing enough to pay the tax price, the younger generation now starting to school in Millers- burg would be definitely handicapped in educational opportunity. So, speaking for the entire Millersburg-Hardy School System, we say, Thank you for the new building and new equipment . It is our earnest wish and prayer that the children coming after us will be appreciative of the new school facilities. We hope they will render the best thanks possible, by working hard to secure a good education and, by putting that education into the making of effective citizenship, that our school may, indeed, reflect its work in the betterment of our village and entire school district. --Class of 1955 Millersburg High School
