Our class advisor is Mr. Thomas. When Coach Banks issued a call for football prac- tice last fall, eleven freshmen boys responded. Most of these boys saw action either in varsity games or in reserve games. Two of them, Gerald Deglar and Ray Miley, won their varsity M's. Our athletic prow- ess was also shown on the basketball court. The class managed a refreshment booth the night of the Halloween festivities, selling popcorn and cider. Later on battered text books were sporting shiny new green and white plastic covers sold by the sophomores. A majority of the class belongs to the high school mixed chorusg two members of our class, Patricia Roberts and Betsy Mast, belong to the marching band and to the dance bandg a number of girls joined the F.H.A.g and some of us have consistently made the honor roll. Another achievement of which we are justly proud was that of winning first prize in the window decorating contest held during the Hal- loween season.
