The class managed a refreshment booth the night of the Halloween festivities, selling popcorn and cider. Later on battered text books were sporting shiny new green and white plastic covers sold by the sophomores. Our class advisor is Mr. Thomas. When Coach Banks issued a call for football prac- tice last fall, eleven freshmen boys responded. Most of these boys saw action either in varsity games or in reserve games. Two of them, Gerald Deglar and Ray Miley, won their varsity M's. Our athletic prow- ess was also shown on the basketball court.
