JUNIORS Z i 5 r I 4 -if .. 1..- TJ Atl Larry Stump, President, Jay Yoder, Vice-President, Lamar Sharp, Treasurer, Bonnie Weaver, Reporter, Zo Ann Sheline, Secretary, Mrs. Champ, Sponsor. The Junior Class made a flying start this year by topping all previous classes in magazine sales. We sold 215825 worth with the help ofseveral members topping over 3100. Lamar Sharp was our high sales- man with a total of 3154, for which he won a trophy. By selling over S700 worth of magazines, we re- ceived a man's Benrus wrist watch which we auctioned at our Ligonier basketball game for 340. Mr. Stevens, our band instructor, is the proud owner of the watch. Our next attempt at earning money was selling ice cream during the noon hour. Then came our class parties which we really enjoyed. For Christmas we exchanged names among our class of ten boys and nine girls. Quite a few of our class members belong to various activities in school. Second team members are Bob Hull, Merle Yoder, Garry Gardner, and Jay Yoder. Three boys are on the varsity squad--Marvin Reigsecker, Larry Stump, and Wilbur Fisher. Sunshine girls include Nancy Virgil, Marie Lockwood, Judy Fetsch, Sandra Sark, Bonnie Weaver, Norma Hire and Zo Ann Sheline. Judy Fetsch and Bob Owen are president and vice-president of the Student Council. Our representatives to the Student Council are Marilyn Hostetler and Merle Yoder. Spring played a big part in our eventful year. We presented our class play in March with Mrs. Whiteman as our director. It was a lot of hard work but we enjoyed it. Then came the real big event-- the Junior-Senior Reception. Of course we provided all the fixings, etc. This ended our Junior year filled with joy, happiness and hard work.
