QND TEAM KE V IEW The second team Millers didn't have too good a sea- son either, part of this being a lack of height. All of this team is composed of Freshmen and Sophomorcs, and all of these being without rny experience. These boys are very small comparatively, but even though they got knocked around quite a bit, they have the spirit to stay in there and fight. They also, to- ward the end of the season, turned in some very nice game E 0 The second team Millers lost three of their games by one point each and eight more games by less than ten points. Several of these boys were getting some experience on the first team this year and proved able to take their part. A few of these boys will be regulars on the versity nextuyezrlglonslmithlthe-Q2QL9PS- '-8 GRADE BB KEWEW Die seventh and eighth grfde tenms played 12 games. They won 252 of these and lost 75Z, but they were real- ly playing the game ond need Q lot of thanks. Vp ry P,f'NN3Zgj Do Du DJ J PERSONAL 1 'H ES Norris Boomershine-The tallest boy on the squad and a good shot. Norris is a Senior and he made quite a lot of points while playing center on the team. He stands e' ifin and weighs 156 pounds. Doumlas Long-Another Senior on the team, and the heav- iest and biggest man in the group. Doug is right in after the ball and incidently shoots quite a few long shots. Doug weighs 190 pounds and stands 5' lOn. Pet Miller-A senior boy on the squad and a good ball player. Pat is not too large but he is a clever ball handler. Pat stands 5' 7U and weiqhs 155 lbs. John Rink-The smfllest boy on the Millers' squrd but is very scraPPY.' ULittleW Johnny is a Senior and he made a lot of nice shots this season. John weighs 117 pounds and stands 5' 5U tall. t Harold Showalter-A Junior :nd Q husky man on the squad. Harold played pivot and was big and rough under the bas- ket. Harold weighs 170 pounds and stands just 6 feet. Robert Moser-A rather small red-headed Junior on the team. Bob is a Hleftyn but is a fest msn with the ball. Robert stands 5' 7 5f4N and weighs 158 pounds. Theron Sheley-Another husky man on the squad. Theron a Junior and more tumbly and bouncy.' Theron tips the scales at 178 pounds and stands 5' SN. Donald Burtsfield-Also a Junior on the team this year. Don is a good defense man and can hold his man. Don weiqhs 146 pounds and stands 5' 8W. John Lintzer-The fastest man on the squad. Johnny is only a Sophomore but can get out there and really go down +sQt floor with the ball. John stands 5' 7 5f4H and weighs 141 poundsi' U Junior Miller-Another,Sophomore .on the team. Junior is e bit wild at t mes but is Q1w'ys in the game as guard. Junior weighs 119 pounds end stonds 5' 5H.
