TOP SCIENCE AWARD WINNERS Second Place, County Conservation Essay Contest—First Place District County Conservation Project Contest Second Place, County Conservation Project Contest SCIENCE FAIR RATINGS The All Ohio Youth Choir is made up of 325 boys and girls from all over the state. Anyone from 15—19 is eligible for tryouts. The winners are picked from their ranking in contests and upon the recommendation of the school's music teacher. All winners meet for the first time at the Ohio State Fair. Two days later they have their first performance. During their stay at the fair they perform before many thousands with such stars as Bob Hope, Eddie Arnold, Johnnie Cash, and others. TV shows are made and two records are cut during the year. One hundred forty are selected to go to Europe on a 25-day tour of nine countries meeting many of Europe's top dignitaries and performing in the most famous cities. They earn part of this money by having concerts over the state during the year prior to the tour. It is a once in a life time experience.
